French Poster - 'Artist - Unknown'

Conservation Treatment:

Unhinging: Removal of packaging tape from the top margin.

Surface Cleaning: Used a smoke sponge to pick up any fresh mould from the recto and verso of poster.

Repairs: There was a paper loss in the top margin and in the bottom right corner. These areas were filled in with paper and retouched using pastels.

Pressing: The poster was humidified and pressed between clean blotters and a weighted board.:
